My
parents recently retired to Southern Florida. Because they are away
a lot and didn’t want all the work associated with a house, they
decided to purchase a townhouse just south of Miami. Each of their homes
are very similar, actually they are the same and there are hundreds
of homes in their complex.
Of course a lot of the homes inthe complex are occupied by retired folks
just like my parents and the homes are really well maintained. But they
are all alike. It became apparent that they needed some way to distinguish
their home from all the others. They didn’t really know how to
do that because the covenants in the complex were very strict. They
couldn’t paint thier home a different color or put colorful awnings
on the windows because the regulations said they couldn’t. They
were really frustrated!
All that changed when we happened to find Marketplace Tile on the net.
Marketplace Tile makes hand
painted ceramic tiles. These ceramic tiles are used for house address
numbers. They are neat! It was an easy way to make my parent's home
different from all those look-alikes in the complex. The tiles are a
tremendous value too! We picked out a powder coated steel frame which
really set off the address tiles. We were easily able to customize the
steel frame with a leaping deer wildlife design which is so perfect
for the area that they live in.
When they received the ceramic address tiles, they were just knocked
out! The address numbers werer soon mountet next to their front door.
Soon the neighbors noticed them and they had to get their own. That
was just fine because they too can customize their address numbers.
Oh by the way we also got a free trivet with our purchase which is now
on our coffee table. It was truly a great way to make my parent's home
